THE STORY:
I planned this hike in early November despite the forecast predicting some snow, not expecting it to be a lot. I drove to the trailhead in the dark before sunrise and somehow convinced myself to get out of my warm car and into the foggy cold. The trail was covered in fresh snow, but I found my way up to the ridge somehow.
It was one of the rare times I experienced total solitude up there and total bliss 😄.
